'bout time to hit that old dusty trail

...well it's time to leave.  i think i'll be taking off day after tomorrow.  i have a few errands to run still but if i needed any more reason to get going i woke up to it this morning:

yep, 4 days into spring.

so i'm gonna head out.  as of right now my final destination is monteray california.  i intend to take my time getting there by way of utah and slickrock canyon country.  i've got a 4 wheel drive, 5 gallons of water, a guitar, and homemade jerky.  i think i'll make it.
